I just spent the past eighty-four minutes immersed in the Disneynature documentary Oceans. Wow; I am left completely breathless at the majesty of creation. For the first time since October, all the worry and stress and frustration of this new transition subsided. I was humbled of how little I know and just how big and brimming the ocean is. I had forgotten how little and meaningless I am especially when seeking my own will compared to the vast richness of stilling myself before the One who holds all of this in the palm of His almighty hands. I am thankful that, without fail, the ocean always directly and instantly points me back to my first love.
Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand,
And marked off the heavens by the span,
And calculated the dust of the earth by the measure,
And weighed the mountains in a balance
And the hills in a pair of scales?
