Titus Two

Happy Valentine's Day to you and Happy Birthday Eve to me!! I had Valentine's dinner tonight with four ladies from my church, three of whom whose husbands have passed on to Glory. What an indescribly precious time of fellowship it was. My life is all the more sweeter and my walk is much stronger as they have faithfully poured into me and trained me up throughout the years. My heart is thankful~

Birmingham Bound!!

Yesterday, I was offered and accepted a position at the Birmingham Zoo. I will be a Trails of Africa/Zoo School Education Teacher. Needless to say, I am beyond thrilled about this next chapter of my life! Stayed tuned as I cannot wait to share this experience with you!

364 days out of the year I love shadows. I attribute this love to the little kid in me who is obsessed with Peter Pan as well as cool photo shoot options. However, on the glorious second day of February their presence (especially if a certain critter is out and about) is not desired. According to groundhogs nationwide, there are only six short weeks until SPRING! My most favorite season :-] I love watching the plants burst forth in their glorious array of color. Today while shopping I couldn't help skipping like a little girl through the gardening section. What is your favorite season?

Daniel blessed the God of heaven, saying, "Blessed be the name of God, forever and ever. He knows all, does all: He changes the seasons and guides history, He raises up kings and also brings them down, He provides both intelligence and discernment, He opens up the depths, tells secrets, sees in the dark-light spills out of Him! God of all my ancestors, all thanks! all praise! You made me wise and strong."
Daniel 2:19-23

Hello, February!

What an Eve of New Beginnings....
*My sweet daddy may be coming home tomorrow from the hospital following a crucially successful back surgery
*I have a "conversation" (a less anxious way to view a job interview, I guess) in the morning with a potentially amazing opportunity in Birmingham, Alabama
*The honor of giving back to a ministry that has immeasurably poured into me faithfully for the last thirteen years

Two weeks until twenty-six years~
Here is to trusting for many more renewals, reconciliations, and reunions.
